MzI
are you using a bolt on or set neck???????????? if your using a bolt make a shim outta wood and just put it in the pocket and thats your neck angle, it may be best to draw out a side view to find out the correct angle which you need for the neck to give it the proper action height MzI
Nouseforone
yea i am using a bolt on so just take a piece of wood and put it under the neck and line it up that way?
MzI
you cant just take a piece of wood and put it under there, make a tracing of your neck pocket, that shape will be your shim, your also gonna need to put holes in it that line up with the screw holes for ur neck. the whole idea of the shim is to be able to angle the neck so your gonna hafta find the thickness of the back part of the shim in relation to its length to achieve the desired neck angle, its just a lil basic math, once you figure that sand ur shim to the correct thickness MzI
