vlljpior Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Hi, i want to built a lespaul and i'm searching for a template of the body. Anyone have a full size drawing or something like that ? Thanks Dan Quote
Setch Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 The MIMF has a Les Paul template in it's library, under the templates and plans section. It's extremely well drawn, and historically accurate, and includes the body, headstock, inlays and all control and route positions. It's in PDF format, and prints lifesize without any need to scale it. You'll need to register at the MIMF to access the library. Quote
Guest AlexVDL Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 here we go again......... MIMF... or stewmac etc <---- sells les paul custom plans for 10 bucks or so. But you can also donate to this site and gain access to the download section where you can find a les paul drawing... contours, necks, inlays, headstock. stewmac LP plan This is one I have made, which you can download from the download section: Quote
Setch Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Just to clarify, the MIMF has templates, not plans, and they are free. You need to register, but that doesn't cost anything. Quote
javacody Posted September 16, 2004 Report Posted September 16, 2004 John Catto's great LP 59 template is there. I would highly recommend it. John is an amazing luthier! Quote
