Norcal_GIT_r Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 I've just finished redoing a strat style guitar. I stripped and refinished the body and neck. The body was finished using Duplicolor Metalcast Green and Duplicolor Pro Laquer. Both were in spray cans. After removing the finish from the neck and raising the grain, I was pleasantly suprised to find it was a flamed maple neck. The neck was finished with Tung oil. I added a flamed maple pickguard(real maple not simulated plastic) and a dual rail pup for the bridge position. The first pics is the before shot, the rest are how it looks now. Enjoy!!
