southpaw rocker
what is the best combination of humbucking pickups for blues and grunge. I'm particularly looking at seymour duncans but I have experience with only DiMarzios and EMGs. can someone who has used SDs help me out. I was thinking a JB/pearly gates combo or just the Pearly Gates set straight up. I don't think the sound samples on the SD site are conclusive enough to make a decision. so once again i appeal to the pickup tasters for help. Thanks. GREGMW
Hi Southpaw , I was wondering what you ended up using.I am thinking of useing the Pearly Gates for the bridge and the neck, so I am interested in your outcome. MzI
personally i like the jb in the bridge and jazz in the neck, im able to get the widest sound range with that setup, ive also used a jazz alone in the bridge and that isnt too bad either MzI
