southpaw rocker Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I have a LP that i put a third pickup into. It has a master volume and tone. The other two pots are individual volume controls for the rythym and middle pickups. the output of these two pots are spliced into one wire that connects to the rythym side of the switch. I can get a little output out of the middle pickup (if i have o/d) but I can't hear it on the clean channel and i can't hear the rythym pickup at all. The rythym and lead are stock epi but the middle is a stock from and other guitar. Is there any holes in my theory? any help would be greatly appreciated as i need to sell this guitar to pay my bills! Quote
Strange Fruit Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 How about if you ran the output straight to the middle pick up volume, and then have a volume for each pick up, and a master tone. Then run the output from the middle pick up out straight to the jack, because then you can blend it in on any config, and by itself. Just an idea Matt Quote
