sjaguar13
I have a neck that has tuning keys, but they are too hard to turn. Is there a way to fix that? Also, I have a guitar that's missing the part you turn. It just has the part post and the part on the back side if the neck. I'm guessing I have to replace the whole thing, but will any kind fit? I plan on replacing all six, so I know they will match. Thanks, Justin
RAI6
Just take one with you when you go to pick up your new ones, that way you'll be pretty darned guaranteed that what you get will fit. They're not that expensive, so swap away!
sjaguar13
I was planning on buying them off eBay. I get gear ratios and stuff, and was wondering if that's something that really mattered. Think I would be better just going to the store and buying one?
Brian
I get gear ratios and stuff, and was wondering if that's something that really mattered. Gear ratio's are very important when it comes to fine tuning. Say the tuners your looking at have a 14:1 that means you need to turn the button on the top 14 revolutions in order to make the post which the string is attached to turn around 1 time.
