Maiden69 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Ok, here is a link to a thread that I replied on a Musicians Forum. This is what not to do to a guitar neck if you are scalloping it, ...unless you are a dirt bike, X-game fan and will like the look of a 22 or 24 multiple jump! http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/attac...tid=11988&stc=1 Quote
spirit Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I remember that! Man that was bad. Quote

soapbarstrat Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 No matter how many times you tell the kids that a chainsaw is not a guitar repair/modification tool, they get high and do it anyway. Quote
Curtis P Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Would it be wise for me to scallop my whole fretboard on the LP i have started building? I would of course pracitce first Curtis Quote
Bounty Hunter Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 I knew of one cat who had 'fixed-up' one back in the early/mid eighties as a slam on all the shredders guitars. He took all the popular mods (like the scallop shown in the pic) and carried them to an extreme, then kept the guitar on display at his store just for kicks. It was funny. Quote
