Making Wires Longer

i have a kramer quad rail with a super short lead, like an inch... how do i make it longer, cleanly

Hi! Hmmm, wait for other answer before taking mine: you could simply take the wire out and put a longer one on its place, or blend the two. Hope it helps. C ya!

well how do i take out the wire and put in another? by the way, it has 4 wires

Hmmm, four wires, it's a humbucker dont? Well, if you have some ability, you can (dont do it unless you're sure of what you're doing!!!) take four wires and solder each one with the four that comes from you pickup. Anything just ask. c ya!

Use heat shrink tube after soldering on new (longer) wire. It will shield well and look professional. You can purchase it at most hardware stores, or electrical stores.
