JSON
Hi! The inputjack on my Jackson JS20 keeps coming loose all the time. What can I do to prevent that from happening? Thanks. -Daniel
Kevan
Try a couple of drops of BLUE Loc-Tite on the threads of the jack. If you can't find Loc-Tite brand stuff at your hardware supply store, just look for any kind of "removable thread locker". One or two drops will go a LONG way. I also use it on the tuning machine threads. They don't ever come loose now. :-)
Simo
I use clear nail varnish on my jack sockets, works great
genbloke
I would use thread lock too. Go for a medium strength thread lock. Don't use high strength stuff, you might never remove the socket again! Genbloke

Definately use the blue, or equivalent, it'll hold your threads, but you can easily loosen the nut when needed.
Jehle
Loc Tite also works well on a strat or tele style bridge too. Those two little allen screws that set the string height on some bridges will rattle loose with hard playing (like mine). A little drop of Loc Tite will hold the little buggers in place so that wont move out of place from the vibration of the strings.
JSON
Thanks for the tips! I really don't know what thread lock is, but I tried with the nail varnish and it works great! Thanks again. -Daniel
