drewby9000
ok, here's my guitar project: I need that neck, and I can't find one in the places I've looked. Any ideas about any aspect of that guitar would be great, but right now the neck is the most important (and most difficult) to find.
drewby9000
Nevermind... I seem to have answered my own question about the neck. God bless you Warmoth.
Jivin
both www.allparts.com and www.wdmusicproducts.com sell strat necks with big headstocks, and www.warmoth.com have it as one of their normal headstock options for their necks. jch4v
Just curious, What humbuckers are you going to use? I am building a tele with hums too! J
drewby9000
I'm not too sure what kind of hums I am going to use. I was hoping some one could shed some light on that. I know this has been posted a million times before, so I might just use the search feature for this one.
VanKirk
Look in the upper right hand corner of your pic. It says www.usacustomguitars.com. They have that peghead shape and it's called the US-3 style.
erikbojerik
If you get the neck from USACG, it will come at a similar (or lower) price as the Warmoth neck but with much better fretwork for your money. And if you're interested in 100% copying the Fender headstock, then you'll recognize that ~10 minutes of sanding in the right places will remove the 15% difference. LukeR
Jason Lollar makes great fender-type humbuckers that retain that fender single coil sound when split ( alot of other humbuckers in single coil mode dont have a very fender-y tone, IMHO). It would be worth your while sending him an email. Luke
