Filling Screw Holes

Recommended Posts

I need to fill 4 x 1/8 screw holes (they are slightly out of square ) ,then re drill them to re use them.

What is best to use.

They will not be seen as they will be under the bridge.

I was going to cut some small dowells, about 1/8 inch round . and glue them in but I am not sure how strong this will be as they will be holding the bridge.

(yes, the second one will be easier!)

Dowels will work, just make sure that the dowels your are using are not too soft, as many craft dowels tend to be. If it it to soft yor pilot holes while wander when being drilled, unless you missplaced them real bad in the first place and your new hole will not overlap them at all.
