frubsen
Hi all, I'm building a Les Paul style guitar and right now I am planning to use a Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II Pro bridge pickup. I was also going to get the neck pickup version of that but both are $125 each so thats a little steep. What would be a good neck pickup to get that would have a nice clean sound for a little less, preferably seymour duncan? thanks. Librero
Jazz model, perhaps? But maybe you could find some place that sells those pickups cheaper? guitarelectronics.com, for example sells the Alnico II Pro for US$76.30 a piece. skibum5545
Um... $125 Canadian is about $103 US right now; the $76 pickup is a rather good deal. Seeing you're in Canada, shipping shouldn't be a big deal. So what's wrong with that one?
AlGeeEater
I have a SD Distortion in my neck and a SD Distortion Trembucker in the bridge. I got them both for about 140.00 USD. Trembucker=70$ Distortion(neck)=70$ i got them at the lowest prices because the girl that owns my local music store is a really close friend of my families. I could get anything for rock bottom prices too...
