Southpa Posted November 11, 2004 Report Share Posted November 11, 2004 (edited) 3M green masking tape sticks strongly enough without leaving any residue. There is also the more expensive blue tape which is non reactive (over time) to any type of finish but has a little less sticking power. Regular beige masking tape is really strong but the tradeoff is potential reaction to finish if left on for a while and a pain to remove.
