jch4v
Has anyone ever used the program Cadintosh for mac? If so, how do you get the damn thing to print to scale? If not, does anyone know of a good, preferable FREE CAD program for MAC? J
stageleft
Never used that program, i found a trial version of Power cad on the net and it works well for viewing and printing out cad files.Just do a google search, you should be able to find it. You may also want to try http://searchcgi.apple.com/cgi-bin/sp/nph-searchpre1.pl. George
jch4v
Hey, That link didn't work. I googled powercad and found a few PC versions, and a $900 version for MAC. Was this a MAC application? J
Southpa
Well, I've never used the Mac version, (what is that, some kinda apple? a British raincoat??? ), but there should be a print setup section in the program. In the PC version I just click Plot, then in bottom right corner there is a "plot scale" section. The default is "fit to paper", I uncheck that box and then you get a whole whack of options, and you can choose 1:1 ratio. I hope that helps. Like I said, I don't know if the two programs are setup the same way, but if they are both produced by Autodesk then they should be.
