Hotrock
How come acoustics don't have a radiused fretboard and electrics do? I've not actually played that many acoustics but they all had a flat board, so I'm curious. Also does anyone make one with a radiused fretboard? Because if I ever finish some of my other projects (which will be years to come yet) I wouldn't mind making an acoustic with an electric style neck. Cheers dudes Kaj
Devon Headen
Only nylon string classical/flamenco guitars have a flat fingerboard. I think there's more need for camber on an acoustic neck most of the time, because you're almost always chording.
unclej
i'm doing a bit of fret work on a nice little martin as we speak that has a 14" radius.
erikbojerik
My Celebrity (read: Korean Ovation) has a 12" radius. As has already been said; almost all acoustics have radiused fretboards, only classicals have flat ones (sometimes concave even).
