ibreakemineedtobuildem Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 (edited) I have this neck that the lacquer has cured.I started sanding it with 2000 and everything was going fine until I noticed that on some fret ends that the lacquer was white. It looks as if maybe I didn't file the frets flush enough and when I wetsanded,it made the lacquer let go of the edge of the board to create a tiny gap between the board and fret. Would that be an explanation? Edited December 18, 2004 by ibreakemineedtobuildem Quote
