bmpaul Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 Does anyone know where I can get some 5ook audio taper push-push pots? Or if in your infinate wisdoms how would you think a linear taper would go as a volume control? Just so you know I am wiring up a strat with two hums JB/Jazz and am looking to use a push-push for vol x2 and tone x1. Looking to get series/parallel and split options. Cheers for any help.. Quote
Dugz Ink Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 I ordered mine from Stewart McDonald. D~s Quote
bmpaul Posted December 23, 2004 Author Report Posted December 23, 2004 Yeh unfortunately they are push-pull, not push-push if the guy would accept that then I'd be laughing but he wants push-push for knob height reasons. Quote
Stalefish Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Try Antique Electronics.. I got mine from there.. Well, push/push pots at least.. Hope that helps.. Quote
Dugz Ink Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 I bumped into this, while looking for some parts: Guitar Parts Resource - Push/Push pots D~s Quote
thedoctor Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Dugz Ink, I thought you were kidding with that link but you were serious! They are push-push! Now I have to stock four more pots! Thanks a bunch! You have got to tell me about that guitar that is your moniker on your posts! Please! Quote
Dugz Ink Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 I thought you were kidding with that link but you were serious! They are push-push! I felt bad when I realised I had mis-read the original post. So, when I stumbled across these pots, I came back to PG and started digging around for this thread. You have got to tell me about that guitar that is your moniker on your posts! Please! That's my baby... "Sylvia"... a fretless Washburn AB-20 acoustic/electric. Washburn still makes an AB-10 and an AB-40; the features that were in the AB-20 were split up between those two guitars. However, this is the only fretless version that I have seen, and I've heard the same remark from several other players. (I found her in a pawn shop... and bought her for about $350!) Here's a posed picture of me with Sylvia. D~s Quote
