grunt411
I am in need of help and advice...I have a floating trem where the bottom of the lower post closest to the controls has pushed through into the cavity that the rest of the bridge sits in (caused by the force of the bridge on top)... My initial thought was to pull the post and use a bit of hard wood and glue to fill it, then redrill and set it... Does anyone see a flaw in this thought? (My concern is strength once it's done. Will the force of the floating trem puch the bottom of the post back through?) Thanks for any help... Brian
If you can you may want to concider routing out the part of the body the end of the post poked through and gluing a piece of hardwood in there to replace it, then drill the hole back down to proper depth for the post anchor.....
