Noisy Les Paul

Hey i have a Gibson Les Paul Smartwood..with the stock pickups and the factory wiring job...and it feeds back really bad...its not even feed back...its more like squeels...and i cant really control it..i even just bought a Boss Noise Suppressor which makes none of my other guitars feed back...but the Gibson still does...is there any ways to fix this? could it be a faulty wire or even the pickup? thanks...i realy need help on this one...it hurts my ears!

Before you throw those pickups out, go read the two tutorials on potting pickups on the main Project Guitar site. That should take care of your problem if the foam doesn't.
