The pieces aren't matched to eachother very well at all.

That depends on the price. Did anyone read the picture rules except me? Hotlinking is not allowed. period

sorry, it was an already hotlinked picture, and i didnt think about that rule.

id be using it for a bottom, would that little notch in the wood at the joint on the left side be a problem, since the top of the body shouldnt reach it.. ?

and the price is like .. 25. plus shipping, i think its 45

that is godawful wood.i can't even tell what type it is.

when you look for guitar wood that is not intended to be for a figured top,look for a more uniform grain pattern.the straighter the better

of course some woods don't have straight grain ever.you kind of need to know the typical look of the wood you are searching for.

I've looked at DK Woodshop's ebay auctions and all of the Alder blanks are either green or only air dried for a few months, so unless you've got access to a kiln I'd look elsewhere :D
