Drak
I posted these ads over at the WeberVST Buy-N-Sell BBS, but since some asked me to post what I was selling, I lifted the ads and here ya go... There are 2 items here, an amp chassis and a 12" speaker ________________________________ For Sale: I'm almost positive it's a '68, could be off either way by maybe 1 year. Traynor Bassmaster complete chassis in working condition, has third tranny/choke. 50W head, 2-EL-34's, 3 12AX7's, SS rectifier. This is the Marshall JTM-45 wannabe amp. No cabinet, no knobs. If you need cab dimensions, I can supply them. As far as I know, completely dead stock by the looks of it. E-mail me for nice clear pics, and any questions I didn't cover. Faceplate in great shape, as they almost always are. The only problem with it is one of the trannys has some busted 'feet' that will need some TLC to reattach. It is currently held down pretty good already, just being honest and up-front. I've seen this problem in several YBA-1's, the trannies are so big and the feet were a little under-designed I guess. Great amp for a project, combo, etc. This is basically the most sought-after Traynor model, the '60's YBA-1 w/ 3rd tranny/choke. $300.00 -shipped- to the lower 48, which basically works out to about $250.00 or so for the amp itself. Amp will be boxed for safe passage. Payment via Postal M.O. only No trades please. I was going to build a cab for it and put it up on eBay, but I figured someone here could maybe use it just as is and save me the trouble of making and covering a cab for it. Thanks for looking. ________________________________ For Sale: 1 8 ohm Electro-Voice 'Coffee-Can' Alnico 12" speaker Re-coned by Ted with a Chicago cone about a year or two ago. Has sat in box brand new since then. MASSIVE Alnico magnet This speaker is -BRAND NEW- as far as the recone is concerned, it hasn't even been broken in yet, just tested. The gasket is untouched and brand new, never mounted. I went speaker crazy for a few years, and simply don't need all these speakers around. I love speakers, but too many is too many. $140.00 shipped. E-mail me for pics/questions Payment via Postal M.O. only Will be boxed securely for safe transport This will be ONE HELLUVA speaker in your amp. Thanks for looking. Daniel Sorbera
hey drak, I really like the sound of the peavey classic 50. Will the traynor get me near that? (i've heard really good things about vintage traynors and started drooling when I saw one for sale)
