Angle Or No Angle?

I've searched, I've read but still haven't found the answer. Sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm building a guitar with an edge pro bridge. Does the neck need to have an angle or not?

I have an Ibanez RG with floyd rose, it doesnt seem to have any angle.. at least I don't notice any.

No neck angle......although most Ibanez RGs for proper set-up can do with a shim in neck pocket.
