Gibson Double Cut Away Plans

Hi there

I am busy making templates for this plan :

Gibson double cut

I am having issues getting my head around the neck joint and plan of this drawing. It doesn't have angles of the neck or how to make the neck joint. I don't have the confidence or experience to try and wing the neck joint or design.

Before I give up and try something else, am I just not seeing the plan right and need to think about it more, or does someone know where I can get a plan that a newbie might find easier. I have looked at mimf for plans but to no avail.

This is the double cutaway plans that I have been using. Check them against yours for any differences if you've already started.
