DracWell
Are there any Luminous sidedots around or is it something I'd have to do with paint?

DracWell
Yeah sorry, did search after though heh. Although, LEDs is not an option. But I found some threads about glow in the dark inlays
DracWell
I just got an idea. Why not mix "glow in the dark" powder with clear epoxy and glue into the sidemarkers' holes?
silvertonessuckbutigotone
good idea, i dunno if it would work, I'm not experienced in that area, how come you can't do leds?
DracWell
don't want them *S* I just mailed the guys at Glowinc.com to see if their powder could be mixed with epoxy.
DracWell
Got this responce from readysetglo.com: Yes that will work, the pigments work well in clear epoxy. You can also place an adhesive down, sprinkle powder on the top with a clear epoxy or top coat as well. Hope this helps
thedoctor
I forgot to relpy to this yesterday but I think I know what you want. Back in the mid-60s it was common to have black-lights onstage to make crap look cool and the one thing that looked the coolest was anything made of that glow-in-the-dark plastic stuff. This same stuff would glow all by itself for about 3 hours after exposure to bright light. I made a set of fretmarkers out of an old Sony remote control that had gone BO by punching circles out with a leather punch and filing them to size. Not too many busted remotes sitting around so I found these glow-in-the-dark light switch covers at TruValue and started using them. They are already really thin and punch very nicely. Is that what you were thinking about?
DracWell
yeah that's what I'm after I could look into those too. Although, with the glow powder you can order you've got more color options Not that anything can compete with green hehe. Btw, their top green has an after glow to about 12h after light.
