kh15 Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 i have a prs santana se with the tremolo and i have been looking at this seymore dunkin dimebucker pickup for a while, i play alot of metal and hard/classic rock stuff and alot of the stuff i listen to the bands use this pickup, made famouse by dimebag darrel ( r.i.p. ) its made for the bridge possition and the thing just screams but my question is, if i get this pick up is it as simple as just unsoldering the old bride pick up and soldering this one in its place? if so i can do it myself, im very good at soldering and have all the proper equiptment but if it requires anything more i will take it to someone cause my prs is the best guitar i have ever played and i dont want to take any chances -thanks Quote
rhoads56 Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 Yup, its that simple, unless you have coil splitting involved, but even then its easy, and instructions are included with the pickup. Quote
