Parker_Fly Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 I just finished sanding and routing the neck joint on my RG using the TUT here for converting to Jem neck joint.. I have one quick question.. Because where the neck was screwed in before was slanted, 2 of the neck screws are longer than the others... Am i gonna have to buy new screws for this or can i use the old ones... I think ill prolly have to buy new ones cause from the looks of it the screws might go into the neck and i dont want that!! lol i could be wrong tho Quote
RRVCustom Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 i would say that if you already have holes drilled in the body, and the neck is pre-drilled, you should be able to cut off the two screws to the right length, so they stay short of the fingerboard. just make sure the end don't mushroom, or it'll never go in.
