I'd like to salvage the rest of it.. ← Depending on the age, and the type of glue used.. I'd say heat and/or steam.. Heating will losen up hide glue.. My guess is to heat and steam the top.. you might have to sand the finish off where you are steaming and see if you can work it loose from the kerfing. You'll want to salvage as much of that as possible.. If all worked out, you could just buy a new topset and reuse your bracing, or at least use it as a pattern to make new bracing and recreate the top.
