Ergonomic Ala Klein

Anyone have any experience/ advice on building an ergonomic guitar, ala Klein? Or, any comments from real Klein owners? For the record, I don't like the look, but everyone seems to rave about the playability.

I recall Boggs builds ergonomic designs. Search for threads started by him. I've never really even thought about it. From what I've seen personally, the way a guitar looks is much more important than the comfort level.

Here is my ergonomic bass design...

The headless design does not require a long upper horn for balance, but for ergonomic reasons the longer upper horn makes the bass feel even lighter (and it is damn light) and brings the lowest notes closer to the body, resulting in less stretching for the notes.

Yeah, I like that bass. I certainly didn't mean it had to be a "Klein-clone"

Nothing completed, but I agree with your perspective on ergonomics. I have a planned 'concept' that takes a Steinberger L-type and adds a removable "Klein-like" lower bout instead of the usual wee little 'leg prop' thingy those guitars have.
