WILL IT DAMAGE MY MARSHALL 8100 BY GOING OUT THE EFFECTS LOOP OUT INTO MY CRATE GFX 65 INSTRAMENT INPUT. I HAVE DONE THIS AND DIDNT BLOW ANYTHING YET! AND GET A REALLY GREAT TONE OUT OF THE CRATE THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE CRATE IS A 65WATT AMP AND THE MARSHALL IS 100 WATT SO IM KINDA KILLING THE POWER OUTPUT. HEY MIGHT I GET THE SAME RESULT IN REVERSE PRE-AMP FROM CRATE INTO INSTRUMENT INPUT ON MARSHALL! GET THE FULL 100WATTS FROM THE MARSHALL THIS WAY! silvertonessuckbutigotone Posted March 26, 2005 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 if the crate has an effects loop you might be able use the crates effect out into the marshalls effect return. this would be in effect be using the preamp from the marshall, then the preamp from the crate, then the power amp from the marshall.
