bio Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 spanish is my native language, so i dont fully understand the english tutorials on guitar building, yet i found a spanish project where they are building a guitar. they are building the signature guitar of brian may [Queen], and i want to build the Jackson RR3. I Was wondering, are the building methods the same/similar? Can I Use it as a Guide?, or do i need to find a guide on building RR3? Quote
Marzocchi705 Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 The methods should be similar if not the same, only the shape is differant and the RR3 has a FR (i think) witch needs differant routing. Is it a Set in or a bolt on you want to make? Quote
Marzocchi705 Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 Bolt on is better, it gives you the option of a pre made neck, but if you want to build your own neck (its not that hard, im half way there already) then you could set it in, its realy just a long tennon joint. Its up to you really. Do you have plans for a RR3? Quote
