SouthPawBrent
First off HI! First post here! Here's my issue.... I have a 1pc. mahogany with a quilted maple top on it. Well after getting put together I found the workmanship to be less than desirable. This is what I would like to have done..... I want the recessed floyd and pickup cavities filled then rerouted. Here's the twist. Instead of just painting it solid to cover the fill, I'm curious to know if it's possible to inlay a veneer of some sort to cover the fills so I could still do a clear finish? Brian
Welcome to the forum SouthPawBrent I don't see why you couldn't as long as your recovering the entire surface..
