khelbanzon Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 photo paper, water slide decals or transparencies for colored graphics? which will really work best. im a newbie in finishing guitar, and it will be my first ever attempt to put a colored graphic in the guitar, i've read some topics about material finish and they really gave me some cool ideas so i decided to try it, can anyone help me?? unclej Posted April 3, 2005 Report Share Posted April 3, 2005 i use water slides and they work fine for me. the paper comes in clear or white backed. if you're doing a decal to put on dark wood the color won't show through on the clear so you do white. just google decal paper or ink jet decals and you'll find several sites that sell it.
