Hey guys,

Thinking of using a carvin bolt-on neck for my next guitar and they aren't exactly forthcoming on much info for this thing. They give you the nut width, width at the 22nd fret and tell you it's standard strat pocket dimensions...

Anybody know off the top of their head what kind of radius the fretboard has? Is it just a 10" or is it a compound radius? What about string spacing at the nut?

Thanks

I think they just changed it to a straight radius - not sure what, but I think in the neighborhood of 14"-15".

For about a year it was a 12"-15" compound radius.

I check again, for I thought that it was on their site, but not, the one I found and I already know was the 7 string neckthru since is the one I was looking to buy, and that one is 15". Call CArvin they are great on customer service and ask them, or go to their forum and run a search

Definitely call. I'm a regular on their forum, and this question comes up occasionally - but the answer changes and isn't always right.
