xbonez182
Hey, I'm working on a gutiar as we speak, and I'm plannings a clearn pickguard, with led lighting underneath. I'm assuming I'll need a battery wired up for this but I'm not sure how I'd go about doing it...Any ideas please? Or sites that could tell me? [HIC]TerrorizR
Dude, that's a killer idea and I would like to see it, but sorry, I have no thoughts on how to begin a project like that. Good luck though.

suregork
All you have to do is take a 9v battery and connect it to some sort of battery clip. Then connect the positive wire of the clip to a resistor and then to positive leg of the first LED. Then if you are gonna use many LEDs connect the positive leg of the second LED to the first LED's negative leg directly or with wire if you want them further apart. Then when you have enough LEDs connect either to an ON/OFF switch or to the ring of a stereo jack to make the LEDs goes off when you pull out the cable or the battery will drain very fast. Use this to calculate the strength of resistor: http://metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&...dcalc/index_eng edit: it might thought be smarter to wire them in parallel, if you are gonna use a lot of LEDs.. xbonez182
Hey thanks, sounds a lot simpler than i thought now. All I gotta do now is to find some space for a 9v battery. I'm only thinkin of usin 3-5 small bulbs, depends what I can find and how much they light it up.
