AlGeeEater
Well, the topic explains it. Im painting a friends guitar(fender strat) and i need some ideas about the layout for black and white checkers. I was thinking of cutting pieces of tape 1x1 inch, and them laying them out. Would this work, or is there any easier way to do it?
Marzocchi705
I can only think of one, spray a white base coat, then put your tape horizontaly across the guitar, with 1in gaps between the rows, then do the same verticaly, thatway you wont have any gaps that could happen by cutting out induvidual squares. I guess i can use tape pieces then, but what a pain in the neck to cut them all out. I need better masking tape too, the 3M green stuff doesnt give off a crisp line. I need easier ways to do this
