RGGR Posted May 12, 2005 Report Share Posted May 12, 2005 Here's the problem. Nice guitar, mahogany body - maple top - white binding around body. Nic in paint on mahogany body! Paint gone, mahogany showing. Question. If I would sand down whole body. How difficult is it to work around/with the white binding. Or should I just try to color match clear and patch the spot. Factory finish is what I have to deal with. Not complete fond of current color....so that's why whole refinish is serious consideration.
