shimmy Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 Hi, Im about to re-radius my classical guitar fretboard....at the moment its dead flat (as classical guitars commonly are)....I giving the fretboard a 12 degree radius....I know that ill have to cut a new nut, but will it be necessary to have a new saddle to match the radius of the fretboard? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.. Thanks Ed Quote
Devon Headen Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 My first instinct says it's necessary. Quote
GregP Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 Just visualize it without a new saddle. How do you visualize the strings as they span the fingerboard? That will give you your answer. Greg Quote
