kfran1234
I have an ivory color Peavey Wolfgang Standard. The previous owner chipped the finish removing the neck. I would like to repair it. The finish is chipped right down to the wood. I'm not sure what is the best way to proceed. My understanding is that this guitar has a urethane polyester finish. I'm assuming the urethane is the base coat and the polyester is the clear coat. I'm also looking for info on where to obtain the finish supplies I will need. Any info is appreciated. Thanks. You could try drop filling - do a search on this forum, has been discussed many times. But, to get a perfect repair, you might end up doing a full refinish...
