Building A 7-string

Hey all. I am starting to build my own 7 string guitar and i was wonderign the best places to get supplies for it. It is oversized and everything is out of the ordinary and i am having trouble finding parts for it. I need to know where to get everything from wood to knobs and 7-string stuff tends to be hard to come by. I plan on shaping it myself and i want it ot be neckthrough. If any one has any tips please let me know. I checked out the site but didnt find anything to my liking. Thanks.

Look in the tutorial section under building bodys. There is a topic on building an electric guitars. The project was a blue 7 string Universe style guitar.

Go to projectguitar.com and look in the supply section, there are more than a few places there.

Start with a Carvin 7-string neck-through neck. I have bought a few of them and although a bit bland they kinda tell you what to do next. The last one I bought I had NO idea what to do with but that didn't last long. Be very **** about the neck pickup placement cause you can screw up a neck-through with bad (too deep) routing.
