Jera Woden
i was at an antque (i cant even spell it) store today and i saw a sky blue (not the orginal finish looks like house paint) lotus les paul style guitar. it was 100 and it looked to be in very good shape over all. it has 98% of its orignal parts (minus one of the saddles for the tune o matic, the cover that goes around the switch and the top cap on the switch, you know the little plastic peice.) well what in wondering is if this guitar is worth the 100 as an experimental guitar for both customization and finishing? and also what the best wat to find a date on it? is there anyway i can pin down a year for this thing? it looks earily 70's maybe late 60's. thanks for understanding
lovekraft
That guitar was probably less than $200 brand new - badly refinished with parts missing, it's worth maybe $50 (?), if you really want it. No vintage value, unless you're into 60's kitsch.
