haggardguy
Can I remove a fretboard with a binding in the way that is described in the tutorial on the mainpage? Thanks, Spencer
Bluestreak
On the guitars I play, the bindings always extend around the headstock, too. I think that would make it impossible to remove the fretboard with the binding in one unbroken piece. But I've never removed a fretboard that had binding before. haggardguy
This guitar doesnt have a headstock binding and I'm salvaging parts from it because it sucks so I wanted to know if I'd be able to remove the fretboard because I have a guitar that could use it. Setch
In short, yes. Be very carefull you don't overheat the binding, since it can droop or sag, burn, or in extreme cases explode, if it gets too hot.
