smackdye Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 (edited) hi I am redoing a bass that I got at a pawn shop for 40 bucks! what a deal! it is a ibanez "bean" bass it is a neck through 4 string it has the dark brown sides (wings) and the natural color center I re stained the wings as it was a little beat up but the tape I used didnt seal very well and some very little stain leaked out onthe the neck/middle of the bass my question is how can I get this out/off with out having to re strip the bass again thanks for any info heres a few pictures the first one is what it looked like before I sanded it you can see the bleeding of the stain I would have done something diffrent but I like the looks of the stock bass thanks Edited June 23, 2005 by smackdye Quote
