fguihen Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 on my schaller floyd rose there is a spring plate, which pushes on the fine tuners and allows them to work( i think) . i bent one of the pieces of this spring plate under the fine tuner for the high E string . i have bent it back ( kind of) and im wondering if it will affect the performance of my bridge? i cant find anywhere to supply the spare part on the web so replacing it could be tricky. any help would be great Quote
Gemleggat Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 It shouldn't effect the performance as long as it is still doing its job, which is making sure the string block clamp is kept in tension so that the fine tuner doesnt move about. Schaller make every spare part available very easily, any shop that sells schaller tuners etc will be able to get the part for you. They are very cheap to replace. Quote
