ok,

i searched but i want to know a few things...

I want to make a 2 humbucker, 2 tone, 2 volume, and a 3 way switch.

Now, i want coil tapping on both humbuckers. That means i want to have 2 of the pots push pull pots. When i push it, i want it to be a single coil, and when its in the other position i want both coils working.

Now, i want to know which pots have to be the push pull pots, vol or tone?

How to wire it?

It doesn't matter -whichever you prefer. The switch on a push/pull pot is completely electrically isolated from the pot.

How to wire it?
Simpy wire the switch to either ground the link between the two coils or short it to the hot wire, whichever you prefer.

Hey Monkey...here's a site with practically wiring for just about every combination you'd ever likely to want...

DGB Studio wiring diagrams

If it doesn't open at the exact page, you want 2H,HH for two humbuckers...

Otherwise...these kinds of wiring are also posted in PG's oft neglected, but very good, reference section from the front page....

PG's Fab reference...wiring

Now from there I just looked up coil split...got this...

SD's coil split diagram

This one might even be clearer...

SD coil split HB

Or this...

SD's 2HB split

In this you'll see that only the bridge is split...the red and the white of the neck pickup are just soldered together...inset a switch just as is drawn for the neck that connects these wires to ground...split!!

This took all of five min's to find but I did it so that people would see the resources available to them if they just have a bit of a look... :D

If guests and members haven't checked it out, Brian has gone to a lot of trouble to make a really neat resource...the site isn't just a forum...though that's a large and active part of it...and people should really take the time to check out what else PG has to offer....

there ends the rant... :D

good luck Monkey, Man...I hope that's helped answered your question....get some sleep...

this

is that what i want but wire the other pick up the same. That will give me pushed both coils, and pulled one coil right.

Would it be possible to use centric pots and do a blend with the pickups?

I can not understand how DBG Studios wiring thing works. I cant find what im looking for becuase i dont understand what each wiring does. Its very vague.

Yes, that diagram will work with both pickus wired the same. Wire the ground to the switch terminal closest to the pot so the split will be in the pull position.

Where do you see a green wire hooked up to a switch? That should go directly to your star ground point (usually the back of the volume pot). The ground lead from each push/pull switch also needs to go directly to the ground point.
