brian d Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 Anyone know anything about this "system" for fret dressing? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7&rd=1&tc=photo Brian. Quote
JPL Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 For $20 bucks you get a rather poor sanding block and some sand paper. I think you could come up with a better system on your own. Quote
Guitarfrenzy Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 You'll never get as good results with a small radius block as you would with a long one that covers the whole fretboard at the same time. That's why I made an 18" long radius block, but have recently been tempted to buy an aluminium one from Stew Mac. Quote
javacody Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 See, I can't even tell that that thing is a radius block. It looks like a piece of metal of some kind, and I'm assuming that you have to bend it to fit your neck while you are leveling? Why else wouldn't they sell a kit for a particular radius? Quote
