This will be my first refinish, so please bear with my beginner question. I'm looking to paint with a base of lime green and do primary colors over top of the base with a stencil pattern. The only lime green I've found thus far is Duplicolor Engine Enamel. I picked up some regular Duplicolor for the primary colors. I've read on this forum that I can spray laquer over enamel, but I'm concerned about Engine Enamel, specifically. It says on the label that the paint contains ceramics and I'm not sure if that will adversely affect anything, or not. If this won't work, does anyone know of any spray lime green laquers that are easy to obtain?

Why not test it on another piece of wood? It would give you a decent idea of what's going to happen with out f***ing up your guitar...
