feedback_king
i'm looking to get the epiphone les pual special 2 or the special 100, and both of them sound alright with the factory pickups but ive heard a crapy no name guitar with p90's on and it sounds so much better than the humbuckers. so if i did get either of the guitars would i be able to change the hums for the p90's???(size difference and stuff) (i know it's not and electrical problem but it seemed to be the only forum i could put it)
Hunter
There are serveral companies that make Humbucker Sized P-90s. I would recommend the Seymour Duncan Phatcats. Normal P-90s would not work in place of humbuckers.
thegarehanman
Kent Armstrong makes some nice pickups. They also have humbucker sized P90's.

lovekraft
For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the KAs. I haven't tried the Duncans, so I can't comment on them, but the Armstrong humbucker retrofits sounded really good to me in a cheap Turser 335 clone - total Casino vibe, a la John Lennon!
