Fret Levelling - Cost?

Hi, does anyone know how much guitar stores typically charge for fret levelling?

That's gonna depend heavily on your area. You're gonna need a tech to look over it beforehand anyway (assuming that because you don't feel right doing a fret dress you can't read a neck properly), so you might as well go get some quotes.

You might get a strange look if all you ask for is the leveling as thats really only half the job.

Doing fret dressing can often be a total &&$^ of a job and repair guys really need to charge fairly handsomely to do it. Doing fret dressings makes me wanna die! I reckon $80 minimum thats £50 ish in my money for an easy one.

The guitar tech at my local shop did an entire fret job, and neck adjustment, for around $35 USD.
