custom-guitars Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 During my daily visits through ebay.... I found this Strange Body 1 and this.... Strange Body 2 Kinda creative in one way.... Very unusable in all other aspects. Does anyone else wonder why he got out of business in the first place? Quote
custom-guitars Posted July 25, 2005 Author Report Posted July 25, 2005 I dont see how they would work out. And no, these are not my auctions. lol It just seems like both of these bodies would be way out of balance on the weight. And also, it seems like you would have no room to actually strum. Maybe it's cause I wasnt born in the 70's, maybe I'm missing the art? I just dont see how you could make workable guitars out of them and still actually play them. Quote
frank falbo Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 I think they're playable, just silly. The reverse explorer style is okay, but still not proportioned well. The guy gets an "A" for ingenuity at the very least. Quote

jmrentis Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Yeah, I'd like to see what under her cavity plate! I just don't know why everything has to be censored or covered up these days! Quote

westhemann Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 the first one i think is meant to be a sillouette of stevie ray Quote
frank falbo Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 The reverse explorer isn't a lefty because the control plate is on the "right handed" side. It's ugly either way, but I'm into smaller treble horns and longer bass horns, so with some redesigning that idea could be made cool. Quote
