sixthview
So I was wondering if there would me any MAJOR noticable difference Tonally if a guitar was glued with say two peices of 1"x24"x24" top & bottom as opposed to how it is usually done with say 2"x24"x8 side by side? thegarehanman
If it's glued correctly, no, not a noticable one.

Mickguard
That's basically what a Les Paul is --two layers of wood. Of course, they use two different types of wood.
sixthview
Thanks guys. Living in the adirondacks, which you think would have an abundance of wood places is actually quite lacking. The one place really only has say like 1x14 (actual sizes). So that is definitely easier to do. Thanks again and any other comments are appreciated! LGM Guitars
Nope, why would it be? That's basically what all figured top guitars are
